Services was wondering, food was so delicious , Fish tacos were so delicious and the burgers are so worth it , highly recommend this spot

Our recent visit to Islands was nothing short of extraordinary! After more than 15 years of indulging in their mouthwatering burgers and perfectly crispy fries, returning to this cherished destination felt like stepping back in time, especially after being away from the vibrant city of San Diego for over 6 long years. The moment my daughter suggested we dine there, a wave of nostalgia washed over me! As we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere wrapped around us, enhanced by the cheerful decor and the enticing aroma of grilled perfection wafting through the air. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and exceptional warmth, going the extra mile to provide a baby carrier holder for our grandbaby, which made our dinner experience even more delightful. Sitting around the table, we savored each delectable bite, relishing the rich flavors while sharing laughter and stories with loved ones. Thank you, Islands, for creating such a welcoming environment where not only does the food dazzle, but where we can also connect and make beautiful family memories together! We can’t wait to return and do it all over again!

You know what you get with Islands. Consistent. Just no more bottomless fries, which was a disappointment. Also fries were a bit dry but food was still good. Server was great and food came out pretty quick although they were busy and we had a big party.

Guys, Hawaiian burger was THE MOST DELICIOUS burger in my life!!!! Also Pina Colada is my favorite cocktail and here you can have the best one!!! Josh was our server and he did great. Very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very Hawaiian and cozy. Cocktail and beer flight is a nice feature. We were so full after burgers and fries, we didn’t get a dessert so came back the next day to get it lol. Highly recommend this place.

Not too many of these franchise type sit down restaurants that I really like going to but 'Island's' however is one that I do frequent about 3-4 times a year. The service is always excellent, the food is always better than I remember and the atmosphere is inviting. Will definitely be returning.

Casual beach-themed restaurant with a great Happy Hour. The pina coladas were amazing! The burgers were also really good. We tried the Hawaiian and the Bluenami, and both were delicious. Service was good, and the atmosphere at the bar was fun.

Good hamburger restaurant in Mission Valley with a beach theme. Lots of TVs where you can watch various surfing videos and they also show popular sports. We had the Wave and Maui hamburgers which were very good and our server Lauren was fantastic. She was quick, friendly, checked up enough to make sure we had everything we needed but not intrusive. Fun decorations and good looking restaurant.

After a six-month hiatus, I returned to Islands in Mission Valley, and I'm thrilled to say the experience remains as delightful as ever. The food was consistently tasty—a testament to their dedication to quality and flavor. Their menu's expansion, especially with the bowl offerings, is a welcome addition and adds a creative touch to their already solid lineup. Service was excellent, even when we had a mid-dinner server change. The staff handled the transition seamlessly, showing professionalism and attentiveness throughout the meal. Overall, Islands continues to deliver on its promise of good food, great service, and a laid-back dining experience. I'll definitely be back again soon!
